MAROONED IPA

One of our favourite flagship beers, Marooned IPA, is a fruity, juicy ale on a base of Pale Malt, Red X and exceptional quality Oatmeal from Kilbeggan Organic Oats. This simple malt base delivers outstanding mouthfeel and gives the hops a perfect platform to shine. With huge Simcoe and Mosiac additions, the beer carries a wonderfully fresh orange zest character. Smelling and tasting incredible, Marooned still carries a kick. At a sessionable 5.5%, the beer features a classic IPA bitterness and finishes slightly dry.

LimiDEAD EDITION: SOURCECODE SESSION PALE ALE

At 4% ABV, our Spring Seasonal is the perfect easy-drinker. Built on a base of Pale Malt with added CaraPils and Raw Barley for body, it’s hopped exclusively on new world hops including Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic and Cascade. A simple, clean fermenting yeast means the hops, subtle as they are, shine through this beer. The finish is round and bitterness levels are only high enough to make this a balanced session ale. It’s accessible, has been filtered so it’s beautifully clear and will be available from all good craft outlets.

SEEKING SUNSHINE PALE ALE

The sun has come out to play in Ireland, and so has our fresh summer seasonal beer…Seeking Sunshine. This one is far from dank and is all about light, zesty notes of tangerine, grapefruit and pithy citrus peel. A tried and tested malt base of Pale Malt, Oats and Wheat, make this a very easy drinker, providing a blank canvas for those bright, fruity hops to do what they’re meant to. With Citra and Amarillo and fermented out on US05, the beer carries a wonderfully fresh and fruity character. Pouring a hazy, golden yellow, Seeking Sunshine clocks in at 5% and is best enjoyed in the back garden on day when you should be in work. REMEMBER: Keep it cold, drink it fresh!

LimiDEAD EDITION: MOONDUST COFFEE PORTER

Our latest baby is something very special…and very limited. We’ve teamed up with our friends in Bell Lane Coffee Mullingar to bring you Moondust Coffee Porter. We’ve brewed a smooth, medium-bodied porter on a complex base of Pale Malt, Munich malt, Crystal Malt and Chocolate Malt. Clocking in at 5%, we’ve hopped this one with Magnum to bitter as well as Willamette and Chinook later in the boil. The real star of the show here is Bell Lane’s Moondust Espresso. It’s a blend of Sumatran, Colombian and Brazilian beans producing a strong flavour with a hint of chocolate and caramel on the finish.

LimiDEAD EDITION: THE OH NINE OH IPA

Produced in a very small batch and poured on keg exclusively at The O’Brien’s Wines, Craft Fair in Naas, Co. Kildare…this IPA came down to the wire! We wanted to be pouring a hoppy, juicy, monster at this event and left the brew-day as late as we possibly could to ensure freshness. We kegged this bad boy on the morning of the fair. Now THAT is fresh! On a base of Maris Otter, this New England American IPA features no bittering hops at all, but truck loads of whirlpool hops including Mosaic, Mandarina Bavaria, El Dorado, Citra, Bravo and Centennial. Then it’s dry hopped on a ludicrous amount of Citra, Mandarina Bavaria, Bravo and El Dorado with a geansai load of pineapple added for extra juiciness.

LimiDEAD EDITION: DISCO AIN'T DEAD GLITTER BEER

What is life if you can’t take the piss…even out of yourself! We’re turning our ‘magnificent unicorn princess’ up to eleven with this latest offering. A god-dam glitter beer! Why? Why not! This sleek, shiny, abomination is on a base of Pale Malt, Munich Malt, Wheat and Oats. We bittered with a tiny charge of Chinook and then used Citra and Amarillo in the whirlpool and as the dry hop. Fermented out on an unusual yeast for the style (K-97), we then bashed in the sparkles during packaging.

LimiDEAD EDITION: COLLABORATION WITH TROUBLE BREWING: PEACH OUT

Taking the ridiculous factor right up to 11…introducing Peach Out. An IPA brewed on a base of Stout Malt, Wheat Malt and Oats, this IPA is unlike anything you’ve ever had before. Peach and White Chocolate are the stars of the show with 10kg of Belgian White Chocolate added to the boil and 40kg of peach added to the fermenter along with cacao nibs and vanilla. It’s sweet, it’s out of left field and it’s going down a storm!

WIZARD OF THE SONIC DOUBLE IPA

Go hard or go home! This Double IPA is a definite hat-tip to the old school. Brewed using a truck load of Pale Malt, Vienna Malt, Torrified Wheat and Crystal Malt, this 8.0% monster is full to the gills of Columbus, Citra and Mosaic hops. It’s unfiltered, a deep orange colour and drinks way too easy. For that reason, it’s available in our taproom in 1/2 pints only. Don’t drink more…drink better.

SHAM MATHS AMERICAN AMBER ALE

We’re big fans of Amber Ale at Dead Centre Brewing, so when we decided to make a hoppy American Amber…we wanted to do it right…and that’s exactly what we did! A marriage of Pale Malt, Munich Malt, Chocolate Malt and Crystal Malt combine to form a beautifully full and sweet foundation for this deep copper ale that pours with a smooth, firm head. Simcoe and Centennial are the stars of the show on the hops front. Clocking in at 6.2%, Sham Maths is the perfect step up from our core IPA, Marooned.

LimiDEAD EDITION: BOSWELL'S LAGER

Named for the last commercially operational brewery in Co. Westmeath, Messrs Boswell (closed in Athlone in 1832), Boswell’s is the first in a string of lager tastes we have lined up and this one was brewed in collaboration with St Mel’s Brewing in Longford. A very drinkable, straight up Bohemian style lager, Boswell’s clocks in at 5%

LimiDEAD EDITION: DISCO STILL AIN'T DEAD PINK GLITTER BEER

Just when you thought we’d reached maximum ‘notions’, we churn out this madness! A remix of our Disco Ain’t Dead Glitter IPA, Disco Still Ain’t Dead was brewed using Pale Malt and Honey Malt as well as generous additions of a single hop…Mosaic. With blueberries added in secondary this is a…wait for it…pink glitter beer. We’ll leave it there. ‘Nuff said.

LimiDEAD EDITION: ACROSS THE POND AMERICAN WHEAT ALE

Created using the raw strength of Instagram messages and Skype, this is a collaboration we brewed with our buddy Sean and the rest of the gang at Crisis Brewing in Fayetteville, Arkansas to celebrate our July 4th Weekend. A tradition American Wheat Ale clocking in at 4.6%, this easy drinking beer was tapped similtaneously at 12 noon in Arkansan and 6pm in Athlone and only lasted a couple of hours…both here and across the pond.

LimiDEAD EDITION: NEAPOLIS PIZZA BEER

This stuff was WILD! We brewed a fairly tradition, straight up Mexican lager and used that clean base as a platform to get creative. First off, we used Italian Pink Salt as one of our water editions and added some Beech-wood Smoked Malt to the grain bill to try emulate a wood-fired pizza. To the mash, we added very high quality San Marzano tomatoes and after adding Crystal and Lemondrop hops in the kettle, we ‘dry-herbed’ with pink peppercorns and local organic basil. The result…incredible!

LimiDEAD EDITION: MOATERBOAT RASPBERRY CREAM ALE

Nothing screams let’s go wild like the Midlands Craft Beer Festival. For the 2019 festival, we’ve decided to pull no punches and go full tilt with this beautifully pink tinted raspberry infused cream ale. With an added blast of nitrogen, the mouthfeel on this is like silk with a sweetness from the raspberries that make this the ultimate summer tipple.
